I have spent more than 30 years working in animal care, wildlife conservation, and science education. Throughout my career, I have cared for a wide variety of animals while helping people better understand and appreciate the natural world.
As Director of Animal Care at the New Canaan Nature Center in Connecticut, I oversaw the care of native mammals, reptiles, and birds of prey while educating visitors about the important roles these animals play in our local ecosystems.
My work at the Bronx Zoo and Los Angeles Zoo focused on the care of African and Asian wildlife, where I also enjoyed teaching the public about conservation and the delicate balance between humans, animals, and their habitats.
At a wildlife sanctuary in Half Moon Bay, California, I helped train and care for more than 50 exotic species. I also developed educational programs for at-risk and foster youth, creating opportunities for young people to build confidence, trust, and meaningful connections through their interactions with non-releasable wildlife.
In addition to my wildlife experience, my background includes horse training, veterinary technician work, serving as an animal control officer, and conservation education.
Caring for family pets was a natural next step in my career. After decades of working with animals of every kind, transitioning into professional pet care felt like an easy and rewarding fit. Today, I bring the same knowledge, dedication, and compassionate care to every pet I look after, giving owners peace of mind that their beloved companions are in experienced, capable hands.
